1 Contrib/PyFoam
A python library to control OpenFOAM-runs and manipulate OpenFOAM-data. Comes with a number of utilities that should make your life easier if you're not scared by commandlines
2 Contrib/olaFlow
olaFlow is a free and open source project, committed to bringing the latest advances in the simulation of wave dynamics to the OpenFOAM and FOAM-extend communities.
olaFlow is a set of solvers and boundary conditions to generate and absorb water waves actively at the boundaries and to simulate their interaction with porous coastal structures.
The main scope of these modelling tools is coastal, marine, hydraulic and offshore engineering.
3 Contrib/pythonFlu
pythonFlu is the Python wrapping for OpenFOAM C++ API.
4 Contrib/swak4Foam
A library that combines the functionality of groovyBC and funkySetFields: it offers the user the possibility to specify expressions involving the fields and evaluates them. This library offers a number of utilities (for instance funkySetFields to set fields using expression), boundary conditions (groovyBC to specify arbitrary boundary conditions based on expressions) and function objects that allow doing many things that would otherwise require programming.

5 Contrib/waves2Foam
The library waves2Foam is a toolbox used to generate and absorb free surface water waves. Currently the method applies the relaxation zone technique (active sponge layers) and a large range of wave theories are supported and the relaxation zones can take arbitrary shapes.
Release of the waves2Foam Manual
As of the 17th of August 2017, the waves2Foam Manual is released. Consequently, the content of this Wiki-page is reduced.
It is still possible to find download/installation instructions and information on the code contributions.
6 HowTo Get Help On The Message Board
... or the importance of precise posting
Questions on the message board are answered by volunteers. So
- you can't expect to get an answer to every question (sometimes no one knows the answer)
- but you can increase the probability to get an answer by using the following guidelines
And always remember: The difficult part about science is asking the right questions
7 Installation/Ansible
The aim of this project is to automatically build OpenFOAM-variants from source using the tool Ansible. The script installs all the requirements before attempting to compile OpenFOAM
The full description can be found in this subproject in OpenFOAM-extend.
The only requirements for this script to work are Mercurial (for getting the sources) and Ansible. They should be installed through the package manager of the distribution

Here you can find introductory videos on CFD with OpenFOAM. I will post them on the channel primarily for polymer engeneering students at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria, for the introduction to CFD prior to the start of bachelor or master theses.
The videos contain auxiliary material to the introduction at the Institute of Polymer Injection Moulding and Process Automation (http://www.jku.at/ipim/content/e57040). The videos contain primarily hands on tutorials and only the most basic theory as there are tons and tons of material on the theory of CFD.
