The gradient theorem relates

$( \iint\limits_S ) p \mathbf{dS} \equiv ( \iiint\limits_V ) \left ( \boldsymbol \nabla p \right ) dV$
Due to notational limits with LaTeX, the brackets enclosing integrals are actually those integrals with a closed circle superposed on them
