At the moment, I am a Ph.D. student at Ghent University, Belgium. The topic of my research is open channel confluences, more specifically cases where the incoming discharges differ more than an order or magnitude (so-called extreme discharge ratios). The research will involve both experiments and numerical simulations, of course in OpenFoam.
