1 Introduction
This page is dedicated to preparing an Ubuntu system for installing the foam-extend project .
2 Ubuntu versions
2.1 Ubuntu 12.04
Run the following commands:
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install git-core build-essential binutils-dev flex \ bison zlib1g-dev qt4-dev-tools libqt4-dev libncurses5-dev \ libxt-dev rpm mercurial graphviz
Then create an additional link:
sudo ln -s /usr/bin/make /usr/bin/gmake
Then continue following the instructions on the previous page, subsection Get the source code.
2.2 Ubuntu 13.10
Follow the same steps as in Ubuntu 12.04.
2.3 Ubuntu 14.04
Run the following commands:
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install git-core build-essential binutils-dev flex \ bison zlib1g-dev qt4-dev-tools libqt4-dev libncurses5-dev libiberty-dev \ libxt-dev rpm mercurial graphviz
Then create an additional link:
sudo ln -s /usr/bin/make /usr/bin/gmake
